Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Linkadi website, dashboard, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account, placing an order, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Linkadi is a platform for digital event invitations. With Linkadi you can:
- Create digital invitation cards for weddings, send-offs, birthdays, conferences, and other events.
- Manage guest lists and card types (for example, single and double cards).
- Send invitations and reminders to guests by WhatsApp and SMS.
- Collect RSVPs and track guest responses.
- Check guests in at the event using QR codes.
- Order NFC cards and digital profiles (an additional service).
Some features depend on the package you choose. Package features, limits, and prices are shown on our website or in your dashboard.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You must give accurate information, including a working phone number, and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account, including activity by event staff you authorize. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Your Events and Guest Lists
As an event host or organizer, you are responsible for:
- The accuracy of event details, such as the date, time, venue, and names.
- Having the right to share each guest's name and phone number with us and to send them invitations.
- The content of your invitations and messages.
- Checking your invitation design and details before sending. Once an invitation has been sent, it cannot be recalled.
You must not upload phone numbers of people you do not intend to invite to a real event.
4. Messages to Guests
When you send invitations, Linkadi delivers them through third-party WhatsApp and SMS providers. Delivery depends on these providers, the mobile networks, and whether the guest's number is correct and active. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver every message, but we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered, delivered at a specific time, or read. Messages sent to an incorrect number provided by you may still count toward your package or message limits.
5. RSVP and QR Check-In
RSVP responses come from guests, and Linkadi is not responsible for whether guests attend. Each QR code is linked to a specific guest and card type. Hosts and their authorized staff are responsible for checking guests in at the entrance and for managing entry at the venue.
6. Free Test Cards
We may offer a free test card so you can see how an invitation looks and how it is delivered. Test cards are for evaluation only. You may request them only for your own phone number or with the recipient's permission. We may limit or stop test cards at any time to prevent misuse.
7. Prices, Payments, and Refunds
Prices are in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by our payment providers, such as mobile money. An event package is activated, or an order is processed, once we receive full payment.
Because messages are sent and costs are incurred as soon as invitations go out, payments for messages already sent are not refundable. If you cancel before any invitations are sent, contact us and we will review your refund request case by case. NFC card orders cannot be refunded once production has started, unless the card is faulty or does not match your approved details.
8. NFC Cards and Delivery
NFC cards are produced after payment and after you approve the card details. Delivery times are estimates. If your card arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we will repair or replace it.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not use the Service to:
- Send spam, unwanted bulk messages, or messages to people who have not agreed to be contacted.
- Send content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, hateful, obscene, or that violates the rights of others.
- Pretend to be another person or organization, or create fake events.
- Collect other people's personal information without permission.
- Hack, overload, reverse engineer, or otherwise interfere with the platform.
We may suspend or remove events, cancel messages, or close accounts that break these rules, without a refund where the breach is serious.
10. Content and Intellectual Property
You own the content you upload, such as photos, names, and text. You give Linkadi a non-exclusive license to store, display, and send that content only as needed to provide the Service. You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload. The Linkadi name, logo, invitation templates, designs, and platform technology belong to Linkadi and may not be copied or resold without our written permission.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third parties, including WhatsApp, SMS, payment, email, and hosting providers. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their outages, delays, or decisions.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Linkadi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including losses caused by message delivery failures, network problems, incorrect information provided by you, or guest attendance. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific event or order involved in the claim.
13. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make important changes, we will post them on this page and may notify users by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute will first be handled through good-faith discussion and, if not resolved, by the competent courts of Tanzania.
